Mad Max: Fury Road

Chris and Sean continue Oscar Month with our sixth Best Picture nominee: Mad Max: Fury Road. Directed by George Miller, the film follows Tom Hardy as the title character as he is thrust into the middle of a war between Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) and Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne). It’s an over the top car chase that begins in the first reel and doesn’t let up until the finale of the film; it’s intense. It’s nominated for Best PictureBest Director, along with eight other Oscars.

The new intro and outro music is Wovoka’s “Lament”, and big thanks to them for allowing us to use their song. You can also subscribe to the Kulturecast on iTunes here. Also, don’t forget to check out our official Facebook page for news, upcoming reviews, contests, and new content.
