Godzilla (1998)

Chris and Sean finish up Kaiju Movie Month with a look at the unfairly maligned first attempt at bringing Godzilla across the ocean, Godzilla (1998). The film stars Matthew Broderick in the leading role as Nick Tatopoulos, a worm scientist who is tasked with taking down the King of Monsters and his babies. It’s a slice of the 90’s as presented by the masters of disaster, Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin.

The new intro and outro music is Wovoka’s “Lament”, and big thanks to them for allowing us to use their song. You can also subscribe to the Kulturecast on iTunes here. Also, don’t forget to check out our official Facebook page for news, upcoming reviews, contests, and new content along with our Patreon page.
