One on One with Christopher McDonald: Happy Gilmore, Texas Rising, Hollywood

We continue our One on One interview series with Christopher McDonald, one of the finest character actors working in Hollywood today. Often cast as the sneering comedic villain, he’s best known for his roles as Shooter McGavin in Happy Gilmore, Kent Mansley in The Iron Giant, and Wilson Croft in Flubber. He has mastered the comedic villain to a tee along with being a fantastic dramatic actor.

As always, you can follow Chris Stachiw on Twitter at @KultureStach, Eric Kniss at @tychomagnetics and Kulture Shocked at @KultureShocked. The music is Wovoka’s “Lament”, and Da DeCypher’s “Two Step featuring Ben-Jamin”; big thanks to both for allowing us to use their tracks. You can also subscribe to the Kulturecast on iTunes here. Also, don’t forget to check out our official Facebook page for news, upcoming reviews, contests, and new content along with our Patreon page.
