The 'Lego Batman' Movie Will Feature Every Movie Batman

The 'Lego Batman' Movie Will Feature Every Movie Batman

The forthcoming Lego Batman movie won't disregard the it's predecessors, and will feature them in some capacity. This is exciting news as Batman in The Lego Movie was one of the highlights of the film due to Will Arnett's performance. It was a unique version of Batman that hadn't been seen on film previously but worked well in the film.

Chris Miller had this to say about the prospect of more than Batman in the movie:

Rest assured that every era of Batman filmmaking will be acknowledged. There have been so many interpretations of Batman and there is so much to play with there. There are 40 versions of his origin story alone.
— Chris Miller

I'm excited to see where this goes as all of the actors who previously played Batman are still alive and would hopefully be willing to offer their voices as a cameo in the film. It would be awesome to see Christian Bale's raspy Batman interact with Adam West's campy Batman for at least one scene, it would be universe breaking in the best way. It would also be great to finally see all of the Batmen on screen together, albeit in Lego form, for the first time in cinema history.
