'Mad Men' to end starting April 5th

'Mad Men' to end starting April 5th

AMC has set April 5 as the premiere date for the final seven episodes of 'Mad Men'.

The drama series will begin its farewell tour today at the Television Critics Assn. press tour in Pasadena, Calif., where creator Matt Weiner, and stars Jon Hamm, Elisabeth Moss, Vincent Kartheiser, John Slattery and Christina Hendricks will talk about the second half of season 7.

It is impossible to overstate the impact (‘Mad Men’) has had on AMC, and I would argue, this era of television
— Charlie Collier, AMC President

I can't argue here. 'Mad Men' single handedly reinvigorated people's love of the 60s, especially in those that weren't born then. I know that ever since I started watching, I wanted to be Don Draper. To have a job where I can basically drink all day and make decent money is just about every college kids dream.

For those of you that haven't seen this gem from AMC, go check it out. Some of the first season can be kind of slow burn, but it's totally worth it.
