‘Kung Fu Panda 3’ Trailer: Remember My Name

Posted in The Screening Room by - June 18, 2015

Oh Bryan Cranston. I guess when you’re trying to diversify away your career from being type-cast as a menacing figure, playing Jack Black’s lost panda father Li in the new Kung Fu Panda film is as good as it gets. The franchise has been around since 2008, and has been immensely popular along with revitalizing the struggling Dreamworks Animation studios after Shrek started losing steam. The new film looks to continue the comedic action of the previous two, and build more on the Po character and his backstory.

When Po’s long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible—learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas!

Kung Fu Panda 3 is out January 29, 2016.
