In a move that no one saw coming, Entertainment Weekly was able to land Bill Murray for their Ghostbusters 30th reunion featured in their Reunion issue. Bill Murray is notoriously fickle and hard to deal with, as documented in multiple publications, even going as so far to not talk to Harold Ramis until he was on his deathbed. It's truly surprising that Entertainment Weekly was able to get Bill Murray to appear on the cover of their Reunion issue knowing this fact. However, while it is surprising, it's also a testament to the pop culture status of Ghostbusters since they were able to get Murray.
Along with Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Ernie Hudson, and Dan Akroyd were featured on the cover of issue. As a huge fan of Ghostbusters it makes me nostalgic for one more ride in the saddle for the 'Busters, not to see the franchise rebooted in an attempt to capitalize on the brand.
